DRAKE HAS NEVER MET WIZKID TRUE OR FALSE

There is no photo on the internet which shows Wizkid and Drake together.
For people who have so much in common, and have shared so much success in the previous year, is it difficult to believe that Wizkid has never met Drake in person?

New photos circulating online shows Nigerian star Burna Boy and Drake sharing a moment. The photos show both stars in London, having conversation. Drake has an amused expression on his face, while Burna Boy was caught mid-speech.

The photos have gone viral, with fans and music enthusiasts wondering what this could mean for both parties. Drake’s work with Wizkid is well documented and many are interpreting this as a sign of a new collaboration.
But the most insightful question that keeps coming up is: Has Wizkid ever met Drake? Have they seen eye to eye, or shared the same physical space together? Ever?
It is difficult to think that both stars have never met in person.
Drake and Wizkid’s romance didn’t start from any physical meeting. Drake was introduced to Ójuelegba’ by a mutual friend of Wizkid – rapper Skepta – who got Drake to remix it. All of that process was made official and managed via emails. There was no meeting.
While Drake was working on his “Views” album, and needed a little something extra. His A&R team reached out to South African producer, DJ Maphorisa, via email. According to a story he shared with Genius, everything was done via email, with files sent across both parties.
“I was recording Wiz when they sent [the files],” Maphorisa said, referring to Wizkid’s background vocals on the song. “There was nothing really there. We started working on it—I added some production.”

Maphorisa said they finished “One Dance” in only a week—it’s one of four tracks they recorded. But they never met. Everything was via email.
Over the coming months, ‘One Dance’, became phenomenal in its success, generating over a billion streams on Spotify and spending 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard 100 chart.
But through all these shared successes, Wizkid and Drake have never been pictured together. Drake and rapper Future began their Summer Sixteen tour from July 2016, and at all the stops and venues, there has been no ‘One Dance’ performance which featured Wizkid.
Also, the video of the song which was shot in South Africa did not feature Wizkid, although Kyla, who was the other collaborator, was present in the video.

At no point has Wizkid and Drake shared the same physical space. If that has happened, photos from the meeting would have found its way online, most likely from Wizkid’s camp. All of Wizkid’s other international collaborations have had photo opportunities. Tinie Tempah, Ty Dollar Sign, Nico & Vinz, and others have their photos with Wizkid.
But none from Drake.
Have they ever met? Has Wizkid and Drake seen eye to eye before? The internet has no record of that, and in this digital age of hyper-information, what does not have a link, a video or a photo did not happen.
Or did it?

“Their English Wasn’t Even That Good” – American Rap Group Migos Says About Nigerians

A couple of weeks ago international rap group  Migos  performed in Nigeria during the Beat99.9FM concert and they had such a good time with a lot of Nigerians really  vibing  to their music as they performed. While in Nigeria, they also shot a music video. The trio, however, had an interview recently that Nigerians – especially Twitter NG – are not too pleased with. In the interview, Migos was asked about their performance in Nigeria and the tagline for the interview was “Where have you performed that has been the most awe-inspiring?” While answering the question, Migos talked about the fact that Nigeria is a third world country that is struggling but that people were really singing along to their songs…even though the English (of Nigerians) wasn’t that great. “Their English Wasn’t Even That Good”
